What
is the Purpose,
and Meaning in a random and unpredictable Universe? |
Understanding
Life lived in pain, love, ecstasy and homicidal hatred - a million shades of
immaterial abstractions from the human brain spinning its web of reality
into the natural world. |

These three questions - the deepest questions that we can ever ask ourselves in our lifetime - will be considered from a religious perspective, as well as from the point of view of the sciences, with the aim of achieving a viable synthesis, whereby each may see an increase in mutual respect for both adherents and the lay population might be obtained. Perhaps the morality of the church, that is ever diminishing as we develop socially, economically, and in understanding the nature of nature, can be replaced with something that will fit into an increasingly secular world that is in dire need of mental and spiritual guidance. There are new perspectives and ways of understanding each side of this ideological chasm that may shed some light on how both, each in their own way, can provide answers upon which we might all agree. Ecumenicalism can never be achieved without this common ground of faith in existence as a basis for every religious ideology. All but the most firmly entrenched in cultural and religious dogma, or mutual intellectual exclusivism, should contain somewhere in the depths of their being the desire and ability within themselves to walk away from life with the greatest treasure a person could have: Understanding. Religion and Science - each with their own set of answers - need not be as incompatible as we assumed earlier on. It is time we begin to heal the cultural, social, and ideological separation that has plagued us since the beginning of time. Literature is appearing every day that addresses the notion of a common ground of faith that is independent of religious persuasion or theological dogma. This site is dedicated, in part, to the relatively new study of Comparative Theology.By comparing the truths of different religions and philosophies, setting aside the differences and focusing on the similarities, we can uncover a better Understanding of our spiritual nature. This site is also an exploration into the fascinating world of scientific inquiry, particularly into the field of physics and the quest for the Unified Field Theory, alternately known as The Theory of Everything. In addition, by comparing our ancient religious beliefs with our scientific discoveries of the present, we reveal a greater level of insight than either could produce independently. This work encompasses our knowledge of religious beliefs throughout recorded history as well recent insights into prehistory. It equally embraces knowledge acquired from observational techniques developed in the last 400 years and shares some of today’s greatest minds views on the subject of the Other World and the Being or beings that may inhabit it. But most importantly, this work is dedicated to those who have known the inner pain of the Divine Discomfort and to help them find a place of peace in this world. - JY

Please help me see my dream through and let me write, write, write.... Your Donation also helps support our increasing number of stray felines.
